Opening of the ‘First Dutch’ 50 KW water electrolyser system”

On Friday, September 13th, VoltaChem the 50 kW PEM electrolyzer test system will be revealed and started up at the Faraday Lab in Petten.
Within NextGenP2H2 project, part of the VoltaChem Power-to-Hydrogen program line, this PEM technology will be optimized in view of low cost and high performance, thus paving the way for further development of a full-scale Dutch MW PEM electrolyzer.

What to expect

In connection with the official opening of the ‘First Dutch’ 50 KW electrolyzer system, this workshop about PEM electrolyzers is organized.  During the workshop developers from ECN, TNO, Hydron Energy, and Frames will provide you insights on:

  • The technical challenges of scaling up electrolyzer stack, the balance of plant and balance of system
  • The current and future performance with respect to cost, lifetime and efficiency
  • How companies can become active in the new green hydrogen supply chain
  • The capabilities of Europe largest Hydrogen Joint research facility
