Oxylus Energy (US) and Thermax (India) as new members Of the VoltaChem Community
02-04-2026
VoltaChem announces two new members to the business community. As an international business community across the Power-to-X domain, we are extremely pleased to have on-board Oxylus Energy from the US and Thermax from India.

Oxylus Energy was founded in 2023 in New Haven, Connecticut. The founding team stems from Yale from the Mountain West, where the idea — and the breakthrough technology behind Oxylus first took shape. Oxylus is pioneering an electrochemical CO2-to-Syngas route from lab to industry. Oxylus Energy's team is multidisciplinary with engineers, chemists, designers, and builders — all working to help power the clean fuels and chemicals economy. In 2024, the company raised $4.5 Million in seed round, an investment co-led by Toyota Ventures and Azolla Ventures with participation from Earth Foundry and Connecticut Innovations.
"Joining VoltaChem is a natural step for Oxylus. We're building a novel electrochemical CO2-to-syngas route, capable of delivering cost leadership in e-fuels, which cannot be done in a vacuum. This means connecting with the broader electrochemical conversion community to accelerate everything from partnerships to commercial validation. We're extremely excited to be joining and look forward to connecting with all VoltaChem's members"
