Program VoltaChem Annual Event 2017

On November 9th 2017 VoltaChem will host its annual event in co-creation with SmartPort and Deltalinqs, to discuss the latest progress in the field of the electrification of the industry and to elaborate on the opportunities to accelerate business together.

Program

• 12.00 – 13.00 Registration, lunch & project poster session. 
• 13.00 – 13.10 Opening by Alice Krekt, director at Deltalinqs and Michiel Jak, director at SmartPort.
• 13.10 - 13.25 Ruud Melieste, Corporate Strategist at Port of Rotterdam on the challenges of decarbonisation and the opportunities of electrification. 
• 13.25 - 13.45 Martijn de Graaff from TNO/VoltaChem on results, plans & opportunities to participate in this Shared Innovation Program.
• 13.45 – 14.45 Industrial pitches & panel discussion with, amongst others:
  -   Reinier Gerrits, ‎Head of Unit Energy and Climate at VNCI on VNCI's roadmap for the chemistry towards 2050.
  -   Muhammad Zubair, Project Manager Business Development at Uniper on hydrogen in refineries & demand-side management.
  -   Markus Oles, Head of innovation strategy at ThyssenKrupp on CO₂ reduction and the importance of electrification and cooperation.
• 14.45 – 15.15 Coffee break with informal networking and project poster session.
• 15.15 – 16.30 Breakout sessions with industrial partners in 2 rounds on topics like Hybrid Energy Supply, Power-2-Chemicals, Power-2-Fuels and concrete business cases.
• 16.30 – 16.45 Kees-Jan Rameau, Executive Board Member at Eneco on the challenges and opportunities in the electricity sector.
• 16.45 - 17.00 General conclusions and concrete next steps by Alice Krekt, director at Deltalinqs and Michiel Jak, director at SmartPort.
• 17.00 – 18.00 Drinks with informal networking & project poster session.
