Electrochemical CO2 conversion technologies: state-of-the-art and future perspectives

Our latest article Electrochemical CO2 conversion technologies: state-of-the-art and future perspectives is now available!

Increased electrification and the rise of carbon-free, intermittent electrons has attracted global interest towards flexible Carbon Capture and Utilization using electrical power. However, more information is needed to understand the technical and economic hurdles unique reactor systems may face when scaling from lab and bench scale projects to demonstration and pilot scale applications. This is why the IEA Green House Gas R&D Programme (IEAGHG) has asked TNO to perform a study into the economics, life cycle greenhouse gas performance and trade-offs of electrochemical CO2 conversion processes.

You can download here the presentation of the webinar, in which TNO/VoltaChm expert Remko Detz will discuss this article.
